The best short films selected at the IV edition of the International Short Film Festival Salento Finibus Terrae - San Vito dei Normanni, on tour in the most important italian cities to promote the
new generation of directors.
Milan, November 2006 - 100 MINUTI CORTI, the road tour that travel all over the country with the best short films selected during the International Short Film Festival Salento Finibus Terrae, that takes place every summer in San Vito dei Normanni (br) - Italy, reaches the II edition.
The Festival, directed by Romeo Conte, want to promote and launch the new generation of directors.
The short films selected during the last edition 2006 of the International Short Film Festival Salento Finibus Terrae will participate in the 100 MINUTI CORTI Tour that will reach the most important italian cities, such us Rome, the 19th January, Bologna, the 26th January and Prato, the 29th January.
Then the tour will be in Milan, at the beginning of February, in Florence the 6th February, in Turin the 13th February, in Naples the 7th March, and in Bari the 9th March.
For the first time, during the road tour, the public will express their preferences for the best short film that will be awarded with a grant during the next edition of the International Short Film Festival Salento Finibus Terrae, that will take place from 24th -29th july 2007in San Vito dei Normanni (br)-Italy. The short films will be divided into two main sections, Human Rights and Fiction.
For the Human Rights section, supported by the Unesco Italian National Commission, we have: “The Red Toy”, directed by Dani Rosenberg (Israel 2004); “BV-01” directed by Alessandro Pacciani (Italy 2005); “The man with the suitcase” directed by Thomas Henseler (Germany 2005); “The Bridge” directed by Artur Muharremi (Albania 2004), “Abandoned Eden” directed by Eno Milkani (Albania 2004); “Samual” directed by Tami Ravid (Holland 2005); “Minestrone” directed by Francesco Falaschi (Italy 2004); “Compito in classe” directed by Daniele Cascella (Italy 2005); “Colpevole fino a prova contraria” directed by Hedy Krissane (Italy/Tunisia 2005) and “Ladri di vita” directed by Gennaro Testa (Italy 2005).
In the Fiction section we have eleven short films belonged to the categories Nuove Immagini, Mondo Corto and Corti Cortissimi: “Die Überrashaung” directed by Lancelot von Naso (Germany 2004); “L’Entretien” directed by Samuel Jacquemin (France 2004); “Bitte Nicht Stören” directed by Paul Schwarz (Germany 2004); “Call me” directed by Paul Wilkins (UK 2004); “Choix Multiples” directed by J.F.Eerde Kens (Belgium 2004); “Morgenschwarm” directed by Thomas Fröhlich (Germany 2004); “Due Bravi Ragazzi” directed by Tony Palazzo, Script by Tony Palazzo (Italy 2005); “Naufraghi” directed by Federica Pontremoli (Italy 2004); “Sali e tabacchi” directed by Fabio Di Credico, Tommy Dibari (Italy 2006); “Zinanà” directed by Pippo Mezzapesa (Italy 2004); “Chora” directed by Lorenzo Adorisio (Italy 2004).
The Tour 100 Minuti Corti gives to the young talents of directors the chance to promote and improve themselves in the international movie world.
